Fnal Community Service self-reflection

1.Organization:  

I volunteered with TAKATOF, one of the biggest organizations in UAE for volunteering; with TAKATOF I did one event completing the twenty hours limit for our course.

  The event we volunteer in is Formula 1 in Yas island circuit, we guide the audience how they reach their seats and Yas application that you can find in app store and google play, it can help the audience to know information about the circuit like where is the toilet and the gates and information of some places like how many seats in the stadium.

2.Best part of volunteer:

  In this experiment the best part was how we co-operate with the other volunteers and work together to success the event and I think my Partners think like me.

  We faced a lot of problems in our way, like the number of the audience too big and from all the world so we faced a lot problems with communicate with audience and we was stood all the time and our legs suffer from the pain we doesn’t have the map of the circuit and the Wi Fi to use the application.

   3.Support the community:

   People think the volunteer in that event was a waste of time and can’t support the community but in fact our effort changed mind of the audience that think the Emirati youth are unhelpful, I remember one of audience was shocked when he knows I’m Emirati while I taking hem to his seat.

  4.All I learned:

   In this event I learned a lot of things, like skills of communicate with people and problem solving and a lot of experience, the hour that I volunteer in will welling my CV, the thing that I can’t forgot is the feeling when the audience thank me for helping them and the our efforts to success the event.

   I advise the students to volunteer to learn new skills meet new people and to bring back something to the country.
